How we collect, use, and share personal information, consistent with PIPEDA.
Consumers: name, email, phone (verified by one-time code), what you’re exploring (intent, timeline, budget range), neighbourhood, site activity, and referral/UTM data.
Professionals: name, business, licence details, contact, and payment information (handled by Stripe — we don’t store full card numbers).
To connect you with a Professional, route and score leads, run the masked SMS conversation, process payments, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
Consumer phone numbers are verified by one-time code, stored encrypted, and used to connect you with a Professional through a masked number — the Professional does not receive your real number through the platform.
We use cookies for sessions and to understand site usage.
We keep lead and account records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Note: once your details have been shared with a matched Professional at your request, that Professional holds their own copy; we can stop further sharing and delete our records, but you would need to contact that Professional regarding theirs.
By providing your number you consent to receive service messages (verification codes, match notifications, and the masked conversation). Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Marketing emails include a one-click unsubscribe.
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption of phone numbers. No system is perfectly secure.
