By using signalhood.ca or any Signalhood service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
Signalhood publishes neighbourhood guides and operates a platform that connects people exploring a neighbourhood (“Consumers”) with local real-estate, mortgage, legal, home-services, insurance, moving, and staging professionals (“Professionals”). We facilitate an introduction. We are not a real-estate brokerage, mortgage brokerage, law firm, or provider of any professional service, and we are not a party to any agreement between a Consumer and a Professional.
The site is free to use. When you request a match, you consent to Signalhood sharing your name, contact details, and what you’re looking for with the matched Professional so they can contact you. Professionals are independent; Signalhood does not guarantee their advice, conduct, availability, or any outcome. We aim to ensure a Consumer who requests help is connected with a Professional and is not left unattended, but we do not guarantee a sale, price, financing, or result.
(a) Eligibility. You must be appropriately licensed where a licence is required for your category (e.g., RECO, FSRA, LSO, RIBO) and provide accurate information. We may verify your licence; verification is a check, not an endorsement or guarantee.
(b) Placements & pricing. Featured Realtor: $299/month, month-to-month, one realtor per neighbourhood, includes up to 15 matched leads per month with incremental leads at member rates. Specialist (Grid): $50/month, month-to-month, plus pay-per-lead claims ($30 for longer-horizon, $50 for ready-to-move, or as shown at claim time). Prices may change on notice; changes apply to the next term.
(c) Leads are opportunities, not outcomes. Signalhood does not guarantee the number, quality, or conversion of leads. A lead marked “verified” means the phone number was confirmed by one-time code — not that the person will respond, qualify, or transact. Leads are provided “as is.”
(d) How leads work. A matched lead is worked by one Professional at a time. You are the sole Professional working that lead while you are actively working it. Signalhood may re-route a lead that is not contacted promptly, is mishandled, or where the Consumer is mistreated, to ensure the Consumer is served. Because contact occurs through a Signalhood masked number, we may redirect or end a connection at any time to protect a Consumer.
(e) Conduct & good standing. Continued placement depends on responsiveness, fair treatment of Consumers, and good standing. Repeated slow response, complaints, or attempts to circumvent the platform may result in lost priority, suspension, or removal.
(f) Anti-circumvention. You may use Consumer information only to provide the service the Consumer requested. You may not resell, redistribute, or repurpose it, and you may not use the platform to avoid fees.
(a) Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance via our payment processor (Stripe). Wallet top-ups fund per-lead claims.
(b) Month-to-month; cancellation. All placements are month-to-month — no long-term commitment. You may cancel anytime, effective at the end of your current billing month; you won't be charged for the following month. Fees already paid are non-refundable, and we don't pro-rate partial months.
(c) Lead charges & refunds. A claimed lead is non-refundable, except: if a lead has a fake or disconnected number, or is a duplicate, and you report it within 48 hours, we will credit your wallet. If we re-route a lead because you did not work it or mistreated the Consumer, no refund is due. If we re-route for our own reasons, we will credit you.
(d) Wallet balance. Remaining wallet balance is refundable for 30 days after cancellation, to the original payment method, less any amounts owed.
(e) Failed payment. If a charge fails, we may pause your placement after a grace period; amounts remain owed.
No scraping, no automated access, no misuse of Consumer data, no reselling leads, no unlawful use.
Listed Professionals are independent. “Vetted” / “verified” is not a guarantee of their services. Neighbourhood data, scores, and estimates are informational only (see our Disclaimer). The service is provided “as is” without warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signalhood is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts of any Consumer or Professional. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Professionals indemnify Signalhood against claims arising from their dealings with Consumers or their services.
We may update these Terms or pricing on notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, fraud, or breach.
